A holiday at luxurious Villa Vino Nobile offers a lot more than just the usual holiday experience - very much another "something special" from Summer's Leases. The villa is set in the midst of an organic vineyard and houses the vineyard's winery downstairs. You'll find yourself in the midst of a harmoniously balanced, eco-friendly environment, dedicated to offering you a great holiday as well as producing the very best of chemical free wines. If you are into wines, you've just found the perfect location for your holiday, if you are simply into fantastic views and a well equipped villa, then it's still a valid option!
Maurizio and Silvia are the owners, two young people who grew up in this breathtakingly beautiful area and are now committed to all that's the best of traditional Tuscany, with the added spin of their passion for healthy living, modern comforts and quality wines. They live a few miles away, but they are both happy to share their local knowledge any time you might need them. Maurizio studied philosophy and history and then, in 1997, he turned to wine making. He's forged a special passion for the land and its vines. He'll be delighted to share his expert knowledge of wine making and his commitment to quality with you. So now you know how Villa Vino Nobile came into being. This is a special villa in a very special setting.
Villa Vino Nobile is just under 2 miles away from Montepulciano, an ancient and atmospheric town as all the guide books will tell you. You'll find lots of eateries there, fantastical old cellars where you can taste the local's world class wines, you can admire some very fine architecture and browse in a host of interesting craft shops. Hardly a mile from the villa in the opposite direction, you'll come to Montepulciano Terme. The spa offers a huge selection of "wellness treatments" - massages of every type, facials, body treatments and, given that it's a thermal spa, you can indulge in their thermal treatments too.
The modest restaurant Tre Stelle may not have 5 stars, but it serves some of the best, authentically Tuscan food in the area! If you don't want to eat out and lack the urge to prepare a meal, ask Silvia to call in the cook. You can eat local specialities on your own terrace in the candle-lit cool of the evening. And if you'd like a cookery lesson, well Silvia can arrange that too. In short, you don't need to travel far if you are thinking of a little luxurious indulgence. If holiday exercise is high on your list of priorities, then visit the villa at harvest time and join in the fun of grape picking. Outside the vendemmia season, you can hire bikes, pack up a picnic and explore the local lanes, admiring in the flora and fauna of this lovely landscape. If you want to sightsee, you'll find yourself well located for exploring both Tuscany and Umbria. Chiusi is a short drive away, with its museum of fascinating Etruscan finds, while Orvieto, Siena, Florence and Arezzo are all within easy reach.
A holiday at Villa Vino Nobile offers so much more than most!
